There's plenty of information out there about substance use among adults and teens - not all of it great, and some it misinformation.

So who do you trust when seeking out the ways to prevent it among youth and adults? It's easier said than done given today's environment, but there are helpful resources to look to for the best and latest information.

First, there's your primary doctor. You trust that person with a lot of medical information, and he or she also can tell you about the medical effects of misusing substances - what they do to the body and brain, and what other medical issues might result.
